| In 1992 I asked my oldest son, who was 5 at the time, if he would like to be a Beaver. After thinking about it for a minute, he replied, "Ok, but only if I can be a little boy again when I am finished being a Beaver!". Thus my involvement with Scouting began. I am currently the registrar for the 18th Seymour, the 3rd Capilano and the Area Registrar for the North Shore in PCC. My youngest son is a Venturer with the 18th Seymour. I am a retired nurse and am currently home on disability and look after my 15 month old grandson to keep me out of trouble. I love Scouting and can't think of any better way to focus my volunteer efforts! | ||||

| I signed on as a Beaver leader in 1991 and never looked back. My father was a Cub leader with me in the 60's, so it just seemed natural to just jump in. I've had many adventures in the different sections with my three sons, camping, orgainzing events, and in training. It's been great! ...and it just carries on. This year I'm AAC Beavers for the Nicomekl Area (Cloverdale/WhiteRock/Langley), and a very-part-time asistant Beaver leader with 10th White Rock. I'm a Scouts Canada Trainer III, I have my Level III First Aid Ticket, got my black belt in Tae Kwon Do last year at age 52, and I'm a card carrying professional clown. Life is indeed good (especially when you consider the alternative -- yukyuk). | ||||

| Steve Ilott has joined the PJ2011 Emergency Services Team as our Service Coordinator. Steve has spent most of his Scouting years in Richmond, serving in various roles for councils at all levels, and is currently the Group Commissioner for 3rd Boundary Bay. Steve and has previously attended several provincial and national jamborees, serving in roles such as Waterfront Program Director and Director of Administration. Steve is currently the Auxiliary Constable Coordinator for the Richmond Detachment of the RCMP. With this addition, the recruitment of the senior management team for the PJ2011 Emergency Services Team is complete. -- 2011 February | ||||
